ANSI/UL 1449-2006 (Third Edition) is the primary standard for surge protective devices. SSI products have been certified to that standard by CSA since March of 2009. As of this date, we are pleased to announce that SSI has completed its listing/certification to ANSI/UL 1449-2006 through Underwriters Laboratories (UL) as well. Now SSI is the only current provider of Surge Protective Products to be able to provide either the CSA or UL marks for the ANSI/UL1449:2006 (Third Edition) listing/certification.

SSI announces listing of Telecom & Data Devices to UL497A & B

May 6th, 2010 - At the SSI Annual Sales Conference it was formally announced that SSI had completed the requirements to be able to label these products with the UL497A & B marks. The scope of this new product release includes telephone, data transmission of various types, coax and current loop protection products.
