At SSI, Engineering is a primary focus of our company. We provide the most advanced products in the industry, and this is not just a statement; we back it up with action. Our Research and Development Test Laboratory, located in Brooksville, Florida, is certified by Canadian Standards Association under its SMTC and Witness Test Programs. Further, Underwriters Laboratories has utilized our R&D test laboratory for witness testing as well as SSI product testing. We were among the first facilities to develop specialized test equipment to meet the requirements of ANSI/UL 1449:2006 (Third Edition) in the country. We have a 90,000 Amp Surge Generator that we use to test our products as well as others and to assist us in the constant development of new technologies and improvements to our current product platform technologies. This generator was specifically designed and developed to meet the Nominal Discharge Current test requirements. Additionally, We have limited current failure testing capabilities, ANSI/IEEE Surge Generators capable of applied power testing up to 480Vrms and various other test equipment that keep us on top of the latest technologies for our industry.
